Saving Accounts - First Bank offers interest-bearing personal and business savings accounts. The right kind of savings plans delivered with the right kind of service, including special savings plans for children, seniors and students. The Golden Passbook* account offers higher interest earnings, and can be accessed without penalty quarterly.
The Christmas Club savings account earns interest and makes it easy to build up a holiday shopping fund. Checks are distributed in late October and new accounts are opened annually.
TIME DEPOSITS
Certificates of Deposit - Funds are kept in this account until the maturity date. An automatically renewable CD matures at regular intervals. CD's are available for the following terms: 7-89 days, 3 or 6 months; 1,1.5,2,2.5,3,4 or 5 years. Interest rates vary according to the term of the CD (penalties apply for early withdrawal) and a minimum balance of $500.00 is required.
