FIRST BANK is Connected to the Community
(October 7, 2011, Escanaba, MI)
First Bank employees enjoyed a little friendly competition on game day between the Escanaba Eskymos and Gladstone Braves. Employees representing their team raised over $600.00 through activities that included penny wars, competitive office decorating and a tailgating party. This activity kicked off the annual fundraising efforts by employees and runs through the holiday season to lend support to the Salvation Army.
President & CEO Michael Nardi proudly recognizes the teamwork exhibited by the employees and noted that as a bank, "We are especially aware of these tougher economical times and how they affect our community. Our employees, along with the support of the bank, feel very connected to our communities and appreciate the opportunities to give back."
